Art Raffle Audit (Can This Art Raffle Be Trusted? // ARA) is an account created by Big Man Skeeter as a response to the constant influx of art raffles from JRUHUB and similar Indonesian art broker accounts. Its purpose is to call out art raffles, artmoot begging posts, or commission advertisements on Twitter/X from known or suspected JRUHUB owned or connected accounts, AI users, tracers or overreferencers, and generally suspicious artists with concerning behaviors. On the flip side, I will also occasionally shout out art raffles or related posts from known / properly audited and trustworthy artists or studios.

WHY SHOULDN'T I JOIN SUSPICIOUS RAFFLES?

You may ask, "Why should I care if I join these suspicious art raffles? I want to get free art 🤷🏻‍♀️"• Aside from the potential of either getting AI generated images, traced artwork, and / or having an overworked, severely underpaid Indonesian artist be forced to make free art, your stuff CAN get traced, overreferenced, or even stolen outright.

WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR

Note: Except for finding direct connections to JRUHUB or being obviously AI/traced/stolen, one or two of these factors is not enough to prove the account cannot be trusted. It's when a large amount of these factors are met.• The "JRUHUB" style: Very saturated and clashing colors, occasionally odd anatomy, extreme inconsistency with art styles between each artwork, sometimes going back and forth in quality and level of skill.
• Raffles are primarily eye banners, mouth banners, YCH (your character here), or even full on Live2D VTuber models - some offer rigging included.
• Many of these JRU accounts' art can be reverse image traced to instagram accounts on InfoLoker / LokerCreative / lokersmg (Indonesian job listings accounts on Instagram.) Look out for listings with anime style characters on the advertisement, and/or looking for those who can draw in an anime style, and the job location being based in Semarang or Jogja.
• If the artist's implied location is different from where their account is actually based in.
• If they are a VTuber who has been pre-debut for ages yet has no twitch / youtube or has nothing on their twitch and much of their content is completely engagement baiting.
• They desperately try to get the attention of VTubers, as they are their main target customer base, usually in the form of posts constantly advertising calling on VTubers, flashy deals and discounts, and making a lot of fanart for big VTubers, @'ing them and begging for people to tag the VTuber for their attention. It is as annoying to look at as it probably is for the VTubers.
• These accounts have the most cookie cutter behavior, primarily abusing the tags: #artmoots #VGenArtist #smallartist
• They beg for mutuals to artificially inflate their follower count without returning interactions, unless the account is large enough.
• The grand majority of them have VArtist in their profile names. This isn't an immediate determining factor, rather as an additional factor to consider.
• Frequent abuse of emojis, usually hearts ❤️💖💞 siren 🚨 sparkle ✨️ on nearly every post
